What happens on the day, what it costs, and who is responsible for what.
What these terms cover
What Encinitas Sub-Zero Experts does is domestic refrigerator cooling & temperature repair and the rest of the built-in kitchen, in Encinitas and Old Encinitas, New Encinitas. Diagnosis, repair and maintenance are all covered by the terms on this page.
Scheduling
Call (858) 779-0698 and Encinitas Sub-Zero Experts will give you a window rather than a whole day. Same-day slots are available most days in Encinitas, and you are told promptly if anything moves.
What it costs, and when
A Encinitas repair is priced once, in advance of the work, with parts and labor in the same figure. Nothing is charged until the job is done.
Parts policy
OEM parts as a rule — or an authorized supplier when the factory part is unavailable — with one exception: if you specifically ask for an aftermarket or refurbished component and we agree it is sensible, that is what goes in.
Diagnosis
Panels come off and readings are taken before a number is given. Where a fault cannot be reproduced during the visit you will be told that, because fitting a speculative part at your expense is not diagnosis.
On the day
Please clear the space in front of the appliance before the visit, and know where the water shut-off is if the fault involves ice or a leak. An adult over 18 is required on site for the whole appointment.
Our warranty
If the component we repaired or replaced fails again in the same way, that is ours to put right: our labor and our parts are warranted against exactly that. The cover is for the repair carried out, and not for a different fault appearing later, damage from misuse or a power event, or work someone else does afterwards. If the appliance is still inside the manufacturer's own warranty, call the manufacturer first — sealed-system cover on this equipment usually depends on who does the work.
If your plans change
A booking can be moved or cancelled free of charge up to the point the technician is dispatched. One phone call does it.
Insurance and liability
Encinitas Sub-Zero Experts is licensed and insured, and the license details are provided on request before work begins. Responsibility runs to the repair itself — not to a fault that was already there, a defect built into the appliance, food lost before we arrived, or anything unconnected to our work.
Applicable law
California law governs this agreement, as it governs the work in Encinitas.
